Northeastern State University Athletics
Northeastern State University is an NCAA Division II School. Teams compete in the Lone Star Conference. Men’s sports include football, basketball, baseball, golf, and soccer. Women’s sports include basketball, softball, golf, soccer, and tennis. The sports teams are supported by a spirit squad, which includes a co-educational cheerleading team, a dance team, and the mascot, Rowdy. The team nick-name is the Redmen for men and Lady Reds for women.
